Oslo, Stockholm, Malmø, Copenhagen, Houston, Austin, New York, and London –
Position Green is looking to continue its strong growth journey. The Corporate Strategy and M&A Manager will play a crucial role in helping Position Green plan and execute its strategy for organic and inorganic growth. Key Responsibilities
- Work with senior management and private equity owner to drive corporate strategy, organic and inorganic growth initiatives, and investment thesis development.
- M&A execution project leadership, covering the entire M&A process from
target identification, market research, valuation, due diligence (i.e., financial, legal, and commercial together with external advisors), legal documentation, signing/closing and post-transaction integration. - Develop hypotheses for value creation and transformation; Assess value, costs, timing and risks for opportunities through strategic and operational
diligence. - Map and research ESG market including software, consulting, and industry targets, stay abreast of transactions and relevant ESG research/benchmarks.
- Stay current with ESG industry developments and regulatory requirements
- Prepare relevant material for Management and Board of Directors.
- Assist and support on ad- hoc projects.
Qualifications - M&A experience from investment bank, transaction advisory, management
consulting or similar - Strong knowledge of M&A processes from A to Z including post-merger
integrations -
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years consulting and/or industry experience; alternatively, an MBA with 3+ years relevant work experience is
acceptable.
Preferred - Ability to work independently; lead small teams focused on specific work
streams of larger projects. - Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Scandinavian
language, including advanced knowledge in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel and
Word). - Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise
mature judgment. - Strong analytical skills and financial acumen
