About the role
As an IT Support Specialist at Position Green, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth, reliable, and secure IT operations for our growing global teams. You will be part of our Operational Excellence team, working closely with the rest of the IT team to provide first-line support within both hardware and cloud services, and to support the ongoing improvement and maintenance of our IT infrastructure.
This is a full-time position where you will have the opportunity to shape and optimize our internal IT processes while supporting colleagues across different functions and regions.
As an IT Support Specialist, you will mainly:
- Provide first-line helpdesk support, resolving day-to-day user issues related to systems, hardware, network, and software
Support the setup, configuration, and daily management of cloud services such as Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
Assist with system-related tasks to help ensure operational stability and support the implementation of security best practices.
Troubleshoot system outages and hardware issues for laptops (Mac/Windows) and related equipment
Monitor system health and respond to alerts in collaboration with the wider Operational Excellence team
Support onboarding and offboarding processes (hardware setup, access rights, software licenses) together with Office Managers
Configure and maintain SSO, MFA, backups, and security patches
Assist with automation scripting (PowerShell, Python, JavaScript) where possible to improve workflow automation
Contribute to IT documentation and continuously optimize internal processes
Be ready to take on various tasks that arise in a dynamic, growing company environment

To succeed in this role, you should have:
A relevant degree or equivalent experience in IT, Computer Science, or a related technical field
Experience in providing IT support and troubleshooting for hardware and software
Good knowledge of cloud services (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, ABM) and common IT tools (e.g., Entra, Intune, Microsoft Power Automate)
Experience working with macOS and Windows environments
Good scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Python, JavaScript) is an advantage
Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken
A structured and solution-oriented approach to work, with attention to detail

Location
We believe you are based in the greater Stockholm or Malmö region and can regularly be in the office to support the team and organization. The role offers flexibility and the possibility to work remotely when suitable.
